As a child I saw my mother who was very artistic and creating various forms of art.  I grew up drawing and painting hoping to be an artist myself one day.  In my teenage years, wanting to be a rock star, I started playing in heavy metal bands and started getting heavily Tattooed.  I remember being so fascinated by the whole concept of Tattooing and the application of Tattoos.  I thought it was so cool that artists could get paid for doing something so rad.  To me, Tattoo artists were rock stars!  So without any direction I continued drawing, working on my line work and painting more often.  By the mid-eighties I was offered a position in a reputable metal band which was going to be recording an album and going on tour.  My big chance! Once again, my plans of being a Tattoo artist would have to wait.  After many years of living the life of a " rock star ", I realized that something was missing in my life.  I craved another form of artistic expression and creative process. I needed to Tattoo.  In 2004 I opened Lucky 13 Tattoo & Piercing in the suburbs of Colorado. Nine years later at our New location outside of Denver in Lakewood Colorado, Our Tattoo family has grown into quite an organization of artists and body modification professionals. By keeping on the cutting edge of Tattooing and new developments, tools and techniques in the industry has made Lucky 13 Tattoo & Piercing a force to be reckoned with in the Tattoo world. I take Tattooing and it's permanence Very seriously, for me it is the highest form of art, and it is an honor to be able to put my art on a human canvas.  It has changed my life and I have found more joy and love in the art of Tattooing than I have ever thought possible.  I have the deepest love, honor, and respect for the art and the artists who have come before us.  Thank you.
